Marconi Restaurant

A renewed oasis of flavour and relaxation, designed around function, acoustics, light and local materials.

The project

A renewed oasis of flavour and relaxation.

The new Marconi brings together materials from local tradition, contemporary lines, sustainability and operational control of space.

Virtual reality and photorealistic rendering made it possible to share every choice before construction, reducing misunderstandings and execution errors.

Marconi, yesterday and today

From the existing restaurant to a new stage.

In the Antigorio Valley, in the home of Crodino, chef Denis Croce and Sabrina chose to renew the restaurant. After an in-depth briefing, the project transformed the rooms without erasing their identity.

Today the chef’s dishes and the wine list are presented in a setting consistent with the quality of the culinary experience.

The design on the left. The construction on the right.

The direct comparison makes the transition from design intention to built result legible. Each pair shows the same spatial point: proportions, furniture, materials, light and functional organisation.

Tables by MAD

Function first, creativity afterwards.

The tables grew from concrete needs: clearing smartphones, keys and wallets from the tabletop and providing a natural place for bags.

A discreet shelf accommodates personal items; the central iron element becomes structure, graphic sign and bag holder at the same time. Wood, Dekton® and iron: 99% function, 1% creativity.

Material, light and acoustics

An operational environment capable of creating emotion.

Light creates intimate scenarios, surfaces invite touch, and acoustic treatment protects conversation and background music.

Mogu acoustic panels, made from fungal mycelium and recycled textile residues, combine comfort, innovation and sustainability. Lunch or dinner is thus transformed into a complete sensory experience.

A project to develop?

We begin with function and reality.

Every commission starts with listening, measurements, priorities and a clear scope. The first conversation establishes how to proceed.
