From oak dust to virtual reality.
My professional training began in my family’s joinery workshop. There I learned that a material does not passively execute a drawing: it reacts, imposes limits and offers possibilities. Technical studies and training at IED Milan added different tools to that practical knowledge.
My years at Luca Scacchetti’s studio were the most important collaboration of my professional life. Since then I have worked with private clients, craftspeople and companies in very different contexts, while keeping one rule: function first, form second.
Brutal. Honest.
I do not believe in creativity for its own sake. My way of designing is preliminary analysis, problem solving, focused strategy, bespoke care and two per cent creativity.
