A FINAL CHOICE

In a setting where interior design is inextricably intertwined with the natural landscape, the new kitchen designed by Michele Anderlini Design emerges as a masterpiece of harmony and refinement. Created in collaboration with Floritelli Cucine and enhanced by the artisanal mastery of Falegnameria Anderlini of Baceno (VB), this composition is not just a functional space for daily life, but a poetic dialogue between innovative materials and Alpine tradition. Imagine a kitchen that embraces the Swiss mountains from the window, with clean lines that capture natural light and textures that evoke the purity of rock and wood: this is exactly what Anderlini has created for a home nestled in Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, where design becomes an extension of the territory.

At the center of this project, the kitchen island dominates the scene with a dramatic yet unobtrusive presence. The worktops, by Cosentino in Dekton Nacre—a matte variant with a pearly, velvety tone—stand out for their extreme resistance and minimalist aesthetic. Dekton, with its ultra-compact composition derived from quartz and porcelain, not only withstands impacts, heat, and stains with enviable tenacity, but also elevates the entire environment to a level of contemporary luxury. Here, Nacre is not just a covering: it extends with visionary coherence to the floors and wall coverings, creating an uninterrupted visual flow that unites horizontal and vertical in a material embrace. The result? A kitchen that breathes, where light gently reflects off the surfaces, amplifying the sense of spaciousness and serenity. It is a tribute to the versatility of Dekton, which Anderlini uses to transform potential divisions into an aesthetic continuum, ideal for those seeking uncompromising design.

The kitchen structure, produced by Floritelli Cucine, embodies Italian excellence in custom-made furniture. Natural oak wood doors, with lively grain that tells stories of ancient forests, alternate with matte grey lacquered modules, creating a tonal contrast that balances organic warmth and urban modernity. The island, with its oak base and sharp edges in matte black metal, serves as a social focal point: here, the double acrylic sink is perfectly integrated, framed by a Dekton countertop that enhances its geometric purity. The matte black faucets by Gioira & Redi, with their elegant arch and pull-out spray, add a touch of sophisticated practicality, while the push-pull drawers and integrated handles ensure an intuitive workflow, never sacrificing aesthetics.

It is the installation and the creation of the accessories that elevate this project to a work of art. The Anderlini Carpentry of Baceno, with its many years of expertise in working with local wood, has taken care of every detail with a mastery that exudes artisanal passion. From the invisible joints of the oak corners—visible in close-up like minimalist sculptures—to custom accessories such as the dining table with a black metal base and solid wood top, everything was assembled on site with surgical precision. The Dekton Nacre floors, laid with minimal joints for a seamless effect, interact with the wall coverings that frame the cooking area, creating a neutral yet magnetic backdrop. The lighting? Subtle and strategic: recessed spotlights and smoked glass pendants diffuse a warm light, enhancing textures without dazzling, while the integrated sockets in the worktop maintain visual cleanliness. Functionality and sustainability are pillars of this design. The kitchen integrates high-end appliances—such as the induction cooktop and multifunction oven—in an ergonomic layout that prioritizes the work triangle. But Anderlini goes further: by opting for eco-compatible materials such as Dekton (100% recyclable) and certified woods, the project aligns with a green ethos, perfect for an alpine context sensitive to the environment. The view of the mountains from the large sliding glass is no coincidence: it is an invitation to cook with the landscape as a muse, transforming daily meals into contemplative experiences. In conclusion, this kitchen by Michele Anderlini Design is not just furniture, but a manifesto of contemporary alpine interior design. Floritelli Cucine provides the solid production base, Anderlini Carpentry the artisanal soul, and Cosentino the material heart with its omnipresent Dekton Nacre. For those who dream of a home that combines luxury, durability, and natural harmony, this is the benchmark.
